I’m what is commonly known as a “Plastic Scotsman”. I wasn’t actually born in Scotland but I moved here in 1997 and have lived here ever since - raising my family and growing my business. Scotland is my home and the home of some incredible entrepreneurs and the birthplace of many successful companies
20 years in big corporate followed by co-founding my own software company left me in a strange place. What shall I do next..? Consulting? Investing? Advisory? All of the above are interesting and impactful - but how can I make change happen at scale? I know - why don’t we create a place where like-minded people can share their stories and learnings with their peers and those striving to set up their own enterprise….? It needs to be fun, interesting and inspiring and be a place to talk about real problems, real solutions and real experiences.
